Bridge Street Animal Clinic requires the establishment of a doctor-client-patient relationship before any treatment or medication is prescribed. This means that pets must be examined before any treatment is performed or medication is dispensed. Once a relationship exists, some types of medication can be dispensed without examination, while other medications will require examinations and blood tests. The doctor will determine what is appropriate for your pet.
Prescription Refill Policy
As of June 1st, 2016 our office will have a new prescription refill policy. This gives us time to review your pet's history to make sure that there aren't any modifications that need to be made to your pet's medication. Prescription refill requests placed on Friday will be available the following Monday afternoon.
Our new policy will ask that you call in any prescription refill request at least 24 hours before needed to the clinic at 817-457-7387 as well as a request for any written prescriptions that are needed.
Please be aware that we do require exams and bloodwork on a regular basis for all of our patients taking prescription medication. The interval may vary depending on the type of medication prescribed.
If you would like to fill your pets prescription somewhere other than the clinic we will print out a prescription and you can pick it up at our office. We will no longer be able to call in or fax in prescriptions.
We look forward to working with you to assure the safest and highest quality medical care for your pet.
You may go to our RX Refill form to have prescriptions refilled.
